Sensitive Data Policy

Do not use YoUni to submit, collect, store, or process restricted sensitive information. The platform is not intended for that purpose.
Restricted sensitive data
You must not submit any of the following through YoUni:
- Social security numbers, taxpayer IDs, or equivalent national identifiers
- Passport numbers, driver’s license numbers, or scans/photos of identity documents
- Payment card numbers, bank account numbers, routing numbers, or payment credentials
- Medical histories, diagnoses, treatment information, or health insurance data
- Biometric identifiers, biometric templates, or facial recognition data
- Private credentials, API keys, secrets, or passwords for any external system
- Confidential school records, protected education records, or third-party files you are not authorized to upload
- Confidential third-party data that you are not authorized to disclose
Use minimal references instead
If YoUni needs to identify your account, use minimal references such as your account email, username, class code, transcript question, or support request number. Do not send copies of IDs or full sensitive records.
If you accidentally submit restricted data
- Stop using that form or workflow immediately.
- Use the support page or privacy request page.
- Reference the account and request removal of the material.
- Do not resubmit the same information in the follow-up request.
YoUni rights
YoUni may reject, redact, quarantine, delete, or refuse to process material that appears to contain restricted sensitive data. YoUni may also suspend related workflows or accounts if needed to protect the platform or reduce legal and security risk.
