YoUni Beta Legal Terms
Billing & Refund Terms
Last updated: April 10, 2026.
YoUni may offer a free trial before paid billing begins. No paid subscription should be charged unless YoUni clearly presents the price, trial timing, renewal timing, and payment authorization at checkout.
1. Checkout controls
When YoUni presents paid checkout, the terms actually shown at checkout control for that purchase, including price, billing interval, trial period, renewal timing, taxes, and plan details. Promotional or preview marketing language does not override the checkout terms.
2. Free trials
- Trials may be limited to one per user, household, payment method, or organization.
- YoUni may change, shorten, revoke, or deny a trial where misuse or abuse is suspected.
- If a payment method is later required, renewal charges begin only as disclosed at checkout.
3. Renewals and cancellation
- Unless otherwise stated at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not automatically create a refund for the current billed period unless required by law or expressly stated by YoUni.
- Unless otherwise stated, plan changes, downgrades, or cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Refund position
To the maximum extent permitted by law, fees are non-refundable after a paid billing period begins unless:
- a refund is expressly offered by YoUni in writing or at checkout, or
- a refund is required by non-waivable law.
Partial periods, unused time, dissatisfaction, accidental non-use, or failure to cancel before renewal do not create a refund right unless mandatory law says otherwise.
5. Failed payments and charge risk
- YoUni may suspend or restrict access for failed payments, chargebacks, or fraud risk.
- YoUni may retry failed charges where permitted by law and the payment processor rules.
- YoUni may recover reasonable costs associated with wrongful chargebacks or payment abuse to the extent permitted by law.
6. Taxes and processors
Taxes may be added where required. YoUni may use third-party processors and billing infrastructure. Those processors may impose additional terms and policies on payment flows.
These billing terms are intended to reduce ambiguity around free trials and future paid subscriptions, not to override mandatory consumer-protection law or replace review by licensed counsel.
